Today’s compensation models are based on the assumptions and principles that have emerged over the past few decades. They have not evolved much ever since, however, making them unsuitable for the future of work in the digital age. The growing use of AI in the world of work, among many other factors, will prompt change.
In collaboration with a business partner, I have launched the groundbreaking initiative Total Rewards 2050. We have established a nonprofit organization, TR2050 Ltd., which serves as the host of ongoing activities.
With a community of experienced reward executives from major companies around the world and select visionaries and academics, we develop concepts, models and scenarios for new forms of compensation for tomorrow.
The work of TR2050 will yield insights into how compensation for work will evolve and gain a foothold in the new world of work for agile, modern, dynamic and digital organizations.
TR2050 is thus at the forefront of a transformative journey, challenging traditional assumptions to advance new models that will be able to meet our future needs.
The future of rewards is an intriguing and evolving topic, encompassing various fields such as economics, psychology, behavioral science, society, technology and future work trends.
